Only a balanced ratio of acid and sugar gives good, stable and harmonious wines. Lactic acid is ideal for raising the acidity of low-acid musts and wines in a targeted way; it is milder than citric or tartaric acid.

The 500 ml bottle is the medium size for several batches. Measure the acidity before dosing. Lactic acid 80 % is corrosive – wear gloves and eye protection and observe the hazard warnings.
