Arauner Kitzinger Yeast Nutrient Salt, 10 x 1 g for Yeast Nutrition

Yeast needs nutrients to ferment cleanly and completely. This yeast nutrient salt based on diammonium phosphate nourishes the yeast cells and is therefore added before fermentation. If the nutrient is missing, fermentation can stall or develop unpleasant off-notes.

The division into ten individual portions of 1 g each makes dosing easy, especially for small batches, so you do not have to handle tiny amounts from a large pack. As a guideline, use around 4 g per 10 litres. Stir the salt in before fermentation. Adjust the exact amount according to the package instructions.
