Joenos Paraffin Oil 1 l, Food-Safe for Floating Lids

With barrels that have a floating lid, a film of paraffin oil seals the gap between the lid and the barrel wall and thus keeps air away from the wine. This paraffin oil is food-safe and of pharmaceutical grade, colorless and odorless and neutral in taste.

You apply it to the edge of the floating lid, where it acts as a lubricant and sealant and lets the lid run smoothly. The 1 liter bottle is enough for many applications and can be dosed precisely. Store the oil at room temperature, cool and dry.
