Arauner Kitzinger Beer Wort Hydrometer, 0-16% Extract, without Thermometer

The beer wort hydrometer is a gravity hydrometer with which you determine the extract content of a beer wort before fermentation. From this value the later alcohol content of the beer can be estimated approximately, so that you can better assess and plan your brew.

The measuring range runs from 0 to 16 % extract. To measure, you place the hydrometer in the wort and read off the value on the scale. This model is supplied without a thermometer; make sure to take the measurement at the reference temperature indicated on the hydrometer or convert accordingly.
