Arauner Kitzinger Plastic Airlock, 10 mm

The airlock sits in the drilled hole of the fermentation bung and lets the carbon dioxide from fermentation escape without air, fruit flies, or acetic acid bacteria getting to the wine. A little water in the trap is all the barrier you need.

This plastic airlock tube fits a 10 mm hole or a matching bung. To clean it, take it out and rinse it; when the bubbling slows down, you know the primary fermentation is done and you can move on to racking.

Comes from the last original stock of the Kitzingen company Arauner, founded in 1897 (operations ended in 2024).
