Arauner Kitzinger Blue Lye 1 l for total acidity determination with the acidometer
CHF 26.00
The blue lye is the titration solution with which you determine the total acidity of must and wine using the acidometer. It neutralises the acid in the sample, and from the colour change you can tell when the neutral point is reached.
Here is how to proceed: fill the degassed sample (shake well beforehand) up to the zero mark in the titration cylinder, add the blue lye drop by drop and mix in between. When the colour changes to dark green, you read off the acidity value in grams per litre on the scale. Fits all common acidometers.
