Joenos Yeast Nutrient Salt (Fermentation Salt), 1 kg Pure DAP for Yeast Nutrition

Yeast needs more than sugar: without sufficient nitrogen, fermentation stalls or drags on unnecessarily. Yeast nutrient salt made from 100 % DAP (diammonium phosphate) supplies your yeast with the nitrogen it needs for rapid cell growth and an even fermentation process.

Application is simple: dissolve the salt in 10 times the amount of must or drinking water and add the solution to the fermentation vessel. The manufacturer recommends a dosage of 50 to 100 g per hectolitre, depending on the batch. The 1 kg pack in a resealable bag is therefore enough for many fermentations. Store it cool, dry and protected from foreign odours, and use up the contents promptly once opened.
