Mead stands or falls with the honey. This bee honey comes from Europe, is 100 % natural and unadulterated, making it a solid base for mead making. It is equally good for sweetening or as a spread on bread.

The 4.5 kg bucket is a sensible quantity for larger batches and stores well. Honey crystallising over time is normal and a sign of a genuine natural product. For further processing, warm it briefly in a water bath at no more than 35 °C and it becomes liquid again.
