CHF 20.00 Unit price CHF 20.00/kg

Tartaric acid is the acid that occurs naturally in the grape. As L(+) tartaric acid (E334), it can be used in a targeted way to raise the acidity of grape must and wine when the batch brings too little acid of its own.

This tartaric acid is highly pure and comes in a 1 kg bag. As a guide, the manufacturer states up to 2.5 g per liter for wine and 1.5 g per liter for grape must. Measure the acidity beforehand, then you dose precisely and don't over-correct past your target.

  • Contents: 1 kg L(+) tartaric acid (E334)
  • Suitable for: acidifying grape must and wine
  • Use: up to 2.5 g/l wine or 1.5 g/l must, according to the package instructions
  • Brand: Arauner Kitzinger

Manufacturer's information:

  • Dosage: 1 g/l raises the total acidity by approx. 1 g/l and lowers the pH value by approx. 0.1
  • Target values: must 6–8 g/l, wine max. 6 g/l total acidity
  • Form: fine crystalline powder in food grade (E334)
  • Storage: cool, dry and tightly sealed
